Let's hit the road
I've just arrived back from the Swiss National Championships in Hoch Ybrig where I placed 15th. I'm really happy with the result as I didn't expect to go through the first round and it just goes to show that anything can happen in ski cross. The racing is going well, I've had a few disappointing results (such as missing out on qualification in St Francois by 100th of a second!) but that hasn't stopped me and I've enjoyed the competitions nonetheless. Podium in Sweden!
Where to begin?
So, the Europa Cup races being held in Val Thorens this weekend were cancelled and rescheduled for January due to a lack of snow. Because of this, my team was at a loose end with no competitions and no place to train.

The last training camp was one of the best for me - it had snowed so much that the mountain was closed for our safety but that didn't stop us from skiing! The whole team worked together to build our own pump track out of the snow in the centre of town and we spent the morning with burning legs and a lo

Success in the South
It's coming to the end of my trip around Australia and New Zealand and despite the hundred little things that went wrong during the course of my stay, I'm happy to say that my results were better than I could have hoped for. After all three of my bags went missing for several days, I had to find a complete set of equipment to train in. Thankfully, there were two heroic Aussies on hand who kindly gave me all the rental gear free of charge! My bags finally arrived in Australia
